Much to our surprise after stuffing our kids with candy and desserts, it only took them about 4 minutes to fall asleep! I guess they've enjoyed their Halloween day!

Today our kids were excited to get to light our pumpkins we carved this weekend. Can anyone tell who Zane carved into his pumpkin (his is the person, mine is the Jack-O-"Lantern"):

The kids were excited to go eat at Chick-Fil-A with some friends (and Mommy was excited that costumes got free kids meals):
The kids were also excited to decorate our house for a fun Halloween party we had with our small group friends (my friend and I made these candy corn decorations with coffee filters...so fun!):
We had a great night with our small group, ate tons of food and dessert, and had some brave Daddies who were willing to take the kids trick-or-treating out in the rain! Definitely a fun (but exhausting) day!

How fun! The kids look so cute. I especially like the pink crocks with Ashy's outfit :) Did they make out with lots of candy? That'll be a great treat for daddy, since mommy doesn't really love sweets. Your candy corns came out really cute. Great job!

Yes, we had a pattern to trace for the pumpkins. I laughed at Ashy's shoes too. She was not happy with wearing black shoes. I don't know what I'm going to do when crocs go out of style...I guess she'll go barefoot!
I loved looking back at all their costumes? What are you going to do next year when Spiderman doesn't fit anymore? That'll be a sad day for Bryson!
We got tons of trick-or-treaters last year so we bought more candy only to get none this year. It was way too cold and our weekend storm left downed trees everywhere and tons of people without power. Warren has a lot of candy to eat now!

We had no trick or treaters either, and our weather was great! Kids here just don't do the door to door thing anymore!
